This possible long barrow stands on fairly high ground at Bartomley Farm, Swythamley, near Wincle. It can be reached by walking along the footpath at the northern end of the Ship Inn carpark.
No excavations have yet been carried out on the site, but it has been Scheduled as an Ancient Monument. A spur of natural rock forms part of the mound, but the rest seems to have been revetted with stone. A couple of decades ago a microlithic flint blade-core was found half a metre below the sloping eastern face.
