|Description ||Within the view presented of this field once stood The Boltstone. No trace survives, it seems, as the farmer destroyed it looking for fabled treasure beneath it in 1839 - so the story goes. Not far to the NW of Kinver hillfort, off Bannut Tree Lane, near the footpath shown cutting across the field.|
| The 1852 tithe map shows this field named as "Long Boltstone", 13 years after the stone's destruction.|

| Yes aluta, I took several others with better angles, but just for this one shot the westering sun shone through the clouds, so I chose this for the light.|
