The square talayot
This building measures 7 by 8 metres and is some 3,70 metres high.
No doorway has been detected in the lower part of the structure, a fact which led the excavators to believe that access to the interior was gained through the top floor.
The exact function of the building has not been ascertained due to the fact that the remains found there do not lend themselves conclusively to any one hypothesis. |
