Description The bracken is growing on the mound of a bowl barrow, centred on grid reference SU41170360. The bare area in the foreground is the in-filled ditch. According to the EH record of scheduled monuments this barrow is 24 metres in diameter and up to 1.4 metres high. It is a prominent feature on this very flat piece of Beaulieu Hilltop Heath. This is a composite image formed from two photos.
