High on the slopes of Cribarth (Crest of the Bear) overlooking Craig y Nos, Saith Maen is an alignment of seven stones, something of a rarity in Wales, of which five are still standing. These vary in height from 0.8 to 1.5 metres, shorter than some of the now prostrate stones, one of which measures 2.9 metres in length. The alignment points towards Cerrig Duon stone circle to the west.
