A dense canopy of trees, and situation beneath a drop from Spital Rd make this a very light-starved situation. Not the most welcoming of wells at first glance. I did find sitting right next to the water on the log at the front very good though. Strong smell of earth, leafmould and moist rocks always very pleasant, in my opinion. |
