Despite one of the stones supposedly being 0.5 metres tall, I could find nothing in the dense heather, which is up to a metre high in places. I spent about 20 minutes looking before I gave up and proceeded with my walk. I also had a quick look on the way back and found nothing.
This really is proving a bugger to find, I obviously need to be here after a heath fire to find anything. |
| Posted Comments: thecaptain (2007-05-15) | This is the view eastwards towards Alderman's Barrow, late April 2007. The grass and heather has not started to grow yet, but still way too long to find anything. |
