| Posted Comments: Dragonsinger (2012-09-12) | UMMM don't like to mention this, but as a Dolmen is the exposed remains of a chamber grave there is no religeous or symbolic reason for there to be any artwork on it as it would have been covered. | Runemage (2012-09-12) | It's thought that not all dolmens were covered, like everything else in the megalithic world, not all constructions conform to one set of rules.
Cists have been uncovered with a artwork that faces inward, i.e. only to be 'seen' by the interred :-) |
