Description My first visit to the carles whilst at university for solstice-i took the photo-a minolta X700 and negative scanned on a canon scanner.Wonderful memories!!!The guy on the right lives in Tasmania now.

Good happy shot Jackdaw, but was surprised at all those trees in background. Never noticed so many, so tall, before. Have they been felled in recent years? (Beside the steep road down to Keswick town, aren't they?)

No this is taken looking e.s.e. towards threlkeld as opposed to Keswick.The sun rises on summer solstice from behind the ridge on the upper left.
