From the Twelve Apostles circle head for the outcrop of rocks to the east. There you'll spot a large 'shed' used by grouse shooters (who must need some 'rest' from lifting heavy guns, sitting in/on butts and engaging in the age-old struggle to procure food to survive...)
Just south of this shed sits the circle...
The remaining stones are set on edge, placed on an almost perfectly circular bank of earth and stone. in 1929 there were said to be about twenty of them, though fewer can be seen today. Maybe some judicous heather removal will reveal more?
