(2011-06-11) | The exterior of Stone 60, the remaining upright of the NorthWest Trilithon - the base of which is filled with concrete.
Noted primarily for its gaping void, I have a picture of 4 women with nervous smiles crouched inside the open grotto escaping from a rainstorm in 1959. But, rightfully considered unsafe to the Public as well as to the Stone itself it was, somewhat reluctantly, reinforced in 1961. |
