|Description ||Celtic links: Thorgrim commented that St Non was perhaps the mother of St David, which is certainly the case. The connection with Britanny was a surprise to me though when I learned of it from this detail in the window of the 'new' chapel at St Non's Retreat Centre. |
| Isn't this beautiful? I really love stained glass windows and, though quite modern, this is a particularly nice one. I've been to the little chapel in front of the retreat, but memory is going! Was this there, or inside the retreat? Must dig out my film!|
| This is in the little chapel on the lawn next to the retreat - this picture was taken very early one morning to catch the sun shining through the window! It helps to be living less than an hour drive away...|
I was intrigued to see the 'signature' William Morris in the bottom righthand corner...perhaps a credit for the pattern around the border?
