Description Standon puddingstone, Hertfordshire. TL390224. So you thought that we had no megaliths in Hertfordshire! This giant puddingstone (conglomerate glacial erratic) is naturally Goddess shaped and is set up at a crossroad leadind to a river crossing. It is the focus of Standon's May Day festivals every year.

Certainly much more convincing than that Cambridgeshire splodge - ahem - white horse.
