Description I spoke to the farmer and he says he's going to remove the trees, so I should be able to get an "after" picture sometime.

Some he's going to removed that tree, its fantastic, and makes of a really great photo, not to mention, a brilliant home for lots of wildlife.

I'm in two minds about this. I think I'd prefer it without the trees (and the reservoir). I like tumuli to be uninterrupted naked curves as originally planned. With a mast-cam (working on it) it would make a beautiful vista across the valley.

Apparently he got a letter from English Heritage saying he should get rid of the pines but not the dead oak. (!?)
