Between Bredwardine and Dorstone (Grid Ref SO 31891 43128). The entrance, at the left of the photo, turns sharply into an ante-chamber, which would have been covered. It`s not known whether the entranceway was covered, or not. The ante-chamber leads in to the main chamber with its massive capstone. The capstone has broken in half and a large slab has half-fallen from one of the halves. The stone at the far end may be a false portal. |
