| Posted Comments: TimPrevett (2006-11-06) | Now this is the sort of shot I aspire to take! Some front lighting I assume? Fantastic. | KenWilliams (2007-01-07) | Thank you ST, there is some side lighting added to bring out the stones, from the rear of the tomb so it would light both the outer and inner orthostats and give a more 3D image. The hardest part of this photo was trying to compose it, at night time with the moon in the shot all you can see is the moon itself through the viewfinder, I would have preferred if the dolmen was more to the right of the pic but it was quite creepy out there in the dark so I only took three exposures :) | AngieLake (2007-01-07) | So - [tongue firmly inserted in cheek] all these past reports of little lights bobbing around sacred sites is just folk like you, Ken, trying to get a good night-time shot! So much for radiation effects, a la Devereux! ;-) | richsmith (2010-10-08) | can i ask you ken for your camera settings for this shot please? |
