|Description ||Looking approximately NNW across the plateau of Trencrom Hill towards what could be the Gorsedd rocks of this ancient settlement. It is neatly framed in the dip of the distant hills, and could have marked the Midwinter Solstice sunset.|
(The pits of the hut circles in Jim Champion's photo lie across the centre of this view.)
| Goofed again! I meant to say "the Mid-Summer Solstice sun may set over the 'Gorsedd' rock" (from this raised position, near to a rock basin at the SE perimeter of the defences).|
| I cringe when looking at these awful photos. This was the last straw, in 2006, when picking up an extremely disappointing set of films of a place I'd loved so much, and left that photo processing agents shop never to return. It's a wonder the glass didn't fall out of the door!|
