Contact them for permission to reproduce it. |  | | Description | When we visited the water level in the interior of the wellhouse was not high enough to flow over the low part in the front. The old collegiate church in Launceston was consecrated by Bishop Bronescombe in 1259 and dedicated to St Stephen. The current St Stephen’s Church stands about half a mile to the east of the well. Very little seems to be known about the well but it does sit up a very pretty and peaceful lane.
