Recent time at Bryn Celli Ddu with a client enabled me to thoroughly go over the monument.
On a stone on the NE top entrance, and on the central standing stone within the chamber, there are these horizontal, and angled notches? A crude form of, or bad copies of ogham? |

(2008-09-26) | You may be interested in my 'Irish Symbols of 3500 BC' published by the Mercier Press, Cork, Ireland. POA. Thirty or more symbols tell of the Sun calendar of sixteen months a year, and Moon calendar of twelve months a year, both had a five day week. | AngieLake
(2008-09-26) | I've got that book, Dr Thomas, and very good it is, too. I bought mine in Carlow about 7 or 8 years ago after being totally mesmerised by the carvings on the stones at Loughcrew and the Newgrange and Knowth complex. |
