Description King's Weston Roman Villa is to be found at the Shirehamton end of the Long Cross. It is dated from 268CE to 367CE. The end being the result of raids from the West. Signs of fire and the presence of two bodies, one showing to have died of extreme violence, give rise to these speculations. The Villa was found during the building of the housing estate in 1947. http://www.allinbristol.co.uk/kings-weston-roman-villa.php ST5340577560
