The church is situated in a dell amongst the high cliffs of the North Cornish coast and from a seat at the far end of the graveyard you can look out over the ever surging sea quite unaware of the high cliffs just below you. Park in the carpark at the end of the road and take the path to the church. On the right hand side of the path the green drops away steeply. St Gennys Well is tucked into a fold of the slope and when we visited in April 2006 the green was neatly mown and access across it to the well preserved wellhouse was not an issue … in stark contrast to the rating given above. |
