Description The view from the Hill fort on Great Hetha. northumberland nation park. Looking south East - the large broad back of The Cheviot is visible in the distance.

I am curious as to the height of the summit you were upon?

About 1100ft - low elevation, but still a fine viewpoint above the remote College Valley. The stones in the photo are those from the ancient hill fort (about 2500 years old) - the fort, not the stones!
