Description Cairn on one of the hills that make up the 'knees' of the Old Lady of the Mountains or Sleeping Goddess visible from the Stone Circle at Callanish. Found by Ian McHardy who says "'S1' is the main cairn which the company Headland Archaeology had called a "shepherds cairn with base" - a bizarre interpretation for a professional outfit to make, especially given the obvious kerb and absolutly useless and labour intensive nature of a 5m by 1m cairn upon a rounded hill top to a shepherd."
