| Posted Comments: sulis777 (2011-06-30) | WOT! so thats what it looks like. when i first came across this place 18 years ago it appeared to be little more than mud...well done whoever cleared that out. the chapel appears to have its alter aligned to summer solstice rise over Castle an Dinas 3 miles to North East on Trenowin downs, a series of path ways cut an almost strait route between them. I dont believe this to be an "evolved site". As it was, so it still is, a very atmospheric, serene and special place. |
