|Description ||Saint-Pierre dolmen 2. |
This dolmen is located at forty meters from the dolmen1. It is preserved better.
Built like dolmen 1 with schist flagstones taken on the spot, it is approximately 2 meters long.
|As suggested in your book, I parked near to the top of the col and walked up the footpath all the way to the top viewpoint when here last year, but found neither of these two dolmens. The footpath splits a few times and goes by various routes, I followed a different way down to that which I went up, but still no luck with the dolmens.
The view from the top is really splendid though, and well worth the effort. Fully recommended.
|Yes, Captain, you are right.
The footpath is rather difficult to follow sometimes in schist slabs. It's important to follow the yellow marks;
The dolmen 1 is ON the footpath and the dolmen 2 , about 40 metres on the right.
As you say, the view from the top is superb.|
