Contact them for permission to reproduce it. | | | Description | This is the almost-submerged, closest hut circle to the reservoir at Fernworthy. Just below the main car park at Fernworthy Forest, these three hut circles are exposed after long dry spells. The end of a decent summer (like the intense hot dry spell in 2006!) is a good time to come and see!

| Posted Comments: AngieLake (2006-08-26) | Looking at the photo, just above the most pointed stone on the bank opposite, might be another hut circle. One is marked there on a plan in Butler's book 'Dartmoor Atlas of Antiquities, Vol 2 - The North'. He says that RH Worth, who excavated huts 1-5 in the 1930s, felt that this one in the foreground may have been a cairn with all the small stones removed. | AngieLake (2006-08-27) | Hut circle No.5 in plan. |
