This must have been done for a purpose: maybe to heighten the importance of the destiny of the procession along the avenue, perhaps? | thecaptain (2006-08-23) | This is surprisingly often the case with Dartmoor rows, that you cannot see one end from the other, even with fairly short rows (or avenues) such as this.
