Freezing fog over several days had deposited ice over the most minute of grass blades, babrbed wire spikes, and tree branches. Completely other worldly, and a unique experience in my near 10 years of stone hunting so far. These trees here seemed to give an ominous presence, barenaked forms standing stark against the invisibility behind them. Taken on the Eglwysegs to the north of Llangollen, February 2006. |
