The Fontpadelle menhir quarry was one of the extraction sites close to the Bondons menhirs site.
Nearest menhirs are 300 metres away, but some are as far away as 4 - 5 kilometres far.
Photo of one of the 7 extracted stones not carried to the Bondons site.
All Bondons monoliths are in granit but the stones were brought to limestone "causses " (ie highlands)
