(2006-08-01) | "Almost." Maybe a Worm Mound. :) But tell, me, in this photo are we looking at the edge of the stone slab making up the roof, with sod growing over it? Or is the curved gray edge something else? | TimPrevett
(2006-08-01) | There is nothing to explain that there; my understanding is that is a modern addition to give definition to the feature beneath, and the larger mound helps house the stairwell (modern) to access the souterrain. |
