|Description ||In Hamish's version of this angle he said he couldn't remember which direction he was looking. After photographing and sketching this view (a new diversion on my Welsh holiday), I took the compass reading, and the alignment through the tomb to the distance, near the base of the hill was 126 degs, and the 'saddle' on the summit was 140 degs. That SE alignment could have been the reason the tomb's entrance was facing that way? Maybe the rising Winter Solstice sun hovered over the 'saddle'? (Is this one Bwlch Mawr?)|
|Thanks for that Angie, makes things a bit clearer.|
