|Description ||St Beuno's Well at Clynnog Fawr, or Fynnon Beuno, would have the old Saint turning in his grave if he saw the bags of ....? that occupied the sacred waters. It was impossible to photograph the water without including one of the three or four eyesores lying in it. The plain surroundings would have been pleasant enough: a large-stepped layout, with room for several people to sit and contemplate whatever pilgrims do at wells. Sadly disappointing after the rather inviting view from the road, and not much of a reward for my risking life and limb to find it!|
| Angie, those bags are still there! (well they were, last Wednesday...)|
| Bags now (at least when we visited) by the debris from one of the walls having been vandalised...|
| That sounds bad, pab. I've been back twice since the new road was built bypassing the village, but haven't re-visited the well. I imagine it is safer to get to it now? :-)|
