| Posted Comments: thecaptain (2006-07-13) | Good to see a picture of this Swiss site madcap. Thanks. Is it more accurately described as a cromlech or an alignement though, any ideas ? I would guess from this view, more like a section of a cromlech. | madcat (2006-07-13) | It's not a straight alignment, but a slightly curved one from roughly the east to the southwest. The stones decrease in size from the middle. I do not think it was part of a stone circle, as the largest stones are in a fairly straight line. | thecaptain (2006-07-14) | The French cromlechs are more often than not a sort of horseshoe shape, and not circles either, which is why I was thinking this may be a part of something similar. |
