(2006-07-12) | RCAHMS classify this as a pair of standing stones but an earlier report suggests it may be the remains of a stone circle with one of the stones being re-used as the lintel for the nearby lime kiln. Strangely the most recent RCAHMS Report makes no mention of the third standing stone at the other side of the small plateau. As Klingon notes there are also other stones similar in shape and size. Very strange! |
