Here, this face - almost at right-angles to its tall, slender partner - is highlighted by the late afternoon sun [mid-June 2006].
At its feet sits a smaller 'baby'. People often attribute 'male' and 'female' tags to standing stones, so maybe it's the 'mother' stone of the two! The other stone seems to be a silent protector. |
