Many Rajput , Kshatriya cast warriors, lost their life in battle all over the Rajputana and their devoted wives performed Sati (self mortification)on their Cremation pyres. All over west India one can find old Sati and warrior stones. After the many earthquakes the stones which survived were collected by the locals and erected again. |
