Achalgarh temple
Nandi, Lord Shiva's vehicle. There can be no shiva temple without Nandi.
This ancient Nandi statue built from 5 metals: gold, silver, bronze, copper and brass. Muhammad Bigrah, a Muslim king attempted to destroy it , but succeeded only in drilling a Little hole. From the hole came a big swarm of bee's and attacked the soldiers. When the king saw the miracle he ordered the soldiers to repaired the damage. |
