The Great Rann , 15000 sq Km on the border with Pakistan, is flooded in the monsoon season when the Arabian sea floods in to the Rann. The sea water with the monsoon rain form a shallow lake, the high areas become an island. In the dry season the Rann becomes a salt plains. |
