Contact them for permission to reproduce it. |  | | Description | This is an oil painting by listed Danish artist Harold Schumacher (1836-1912). It depicts a dolmen presumably in Denmark. The boulders have small flowers around them. The painting is dated 1901. A stork flys overhead and an old church is seen in the background. The stork is a fertility symbol and the church completes the symbolism and perhaps adds respectibility! The site is not known and I welcome comments. |

(2006-06-02) | I think I'ts the one at Ristinge Klint on the Langeland peninsula off the island of Fyn South East Denmark. Nice beaches when it's hot. | wistim
