Description Israeli Standing stones sanctuary, with the big stones representing deities and the small ones representing ancestral spirits, the rocks are natural lime stone nudels with some flint common to the area.
In the Negev and Sinai deserts, there are many standing stones dated from +- 10th millenium BCE to Islamic era (632 CE).
This sanctuary was discovered on 20-05-2006, whilst I was showing other sites I discovered, to Dr. Avner Uzi.
