|Description ||Composite image of the bowl barrow during bluebell season. This corner of the woods is away from the majority of visitors (who keep close to the Forestry Commission car park) but the M3 is just to the left and provides a noisy backdrop.|
Cracking Bluebells Jim
This is gorgeous Jim! Pity you didn't have it for the Spring Photo Competiton. There's something so fresh and uplifting to the spirit about newly-opened leaves, and the colour of the bluebells is just wonderful - I love that blue, and I love this time of the year!
Spring sprang a bit late for the competition! Perhaps there's next year?
That would have been the clear Spring Comp. winner in my book! Excellent - yoy can almost smell them.
Beautiful! And what a lovely mound!
It is a fantastic photo, I agree with Angie, its got to be the best time of year. Lovely :)
If you see the other side of the mound its not so well-formed (see the other photo on the site page) - its been quarried away at some time in the past. It was pretty blue there - I recommend it.
