Description
This is a full length colour photo of 'Le Gardien'. Consiting of none wide angle shots put together, the viewer can clearly see the bow, fingers and some kind of - dare I say it? - crown-type headgear?
The rock was split when discovered in 1932 and kind of 'repaired' when re-erected.

what a magnificent chap this is. There seems to be many features in common with the southern French statue-menhirs here. Can I see a belt and legs as well as the arms ?
