Description Impossible to get all of these barrows in a single shot - even a panorama. Very dramatic location on chalk hills near Royston. Flying golf balls are a hazard!

Yes - it is four photos stitched together. One day, I'll stand in the centre of a stone circle, go the full 360 degrees, stitch them all together and then post it as a stone row and really confuse the experts!

But this would raise a number of problems Peter. How would you know where to start? Would you remember to stop in time? Will the stones remain uncountable? & most important of all you must remember to never go round widdershins!

If I go around twice, my row will be really long and twice as confusing ;o)

I once did the first part of this at the Merry Maidens. But after taking all the individual pictures, there seems more to life, and far too much to do, than spend the eternity necessary for me to join them all together ! perhaps one day !

Mind you, I also took one of them little videos from the middle going all the way round. Wonder if the portal would be able to display that, assuming I could find the file somewhere.
