Description
Orbs? These are reflections of camera flash upon droplets of moisture, or dust particles. This is easily demonstrated from the picture at Saint Winefrides Holy Well in North Wales. Having bathed, there is lots of water on the floor (notice trails). It was drizzling outside. The water comes out of the ground in this chamber. It was bitterly cold, so water was not evaporating quickly. As I was the only one here, I took this picture once wrapped up warm, and noticed the extensive collection of orbs. There is lots of water here.
If one is to rationalise orbs, that is not detract from the special quality of places like this. Megaliths, Holy Wells, etc are wonderful, and places that reverberate with many on very deep level (myself included). But we don't need reflections of water and dust to prove that they are special. We know they are special anyway.
