Couldn't get close to this one, the field was full of cows! It lies to the east side of the road leading north out of Blairgowrie past Bonnington and towards the Parkneuk stones. There is a ruined circle just south of here, and another circle at Hill of Drimmie just north, and the Parkneuk stones are not too far north of that one, so this is a stone-rich environment. There is allegedly a 4-poster just downhill from here, and another source states that there are six or seven cupmarks on this stone. I'll have to call again when the cows aren't home! |
