The path over the headland leads directly to one of the Bronze Age barrows (highest point to the left) but *beware* if you have children, as immediately on the far side of the barrow is an unfenced sheer drop over the cliffs! The distant view of Newquay includes the prominent 'Atlantic Hotel' that overlooks Fistral beach, a Mecca for surfers on the other side of that headland.
