|Description ||Taken at night from the eastern end of the field, 30 sec exposure with handheld torchlight 11/2/06. The fencing around the kerbstones just below the bush on the right side of the mound has been removed in photoshop.|
|Marvellous, the torch light has worked very well. I like the was it has picked out the trunk of the tree, and the tussocks of grass. Is it a powerful torch? My partner and I tried a similar technique up at Cairn Holy, in Galloway. I was really pleased with the photos, and we had such fun taking them!|
|Yea - I agree with Nicola, a cracking picture. Just shows what you can do with a bit of creativity and experimentation.|
|Thank you :) The torch is 1,000,000 candle power which is about right for most photographic uses. Any more powerful and you burn out details very quickly near the lightsource.|
