|Description ||Raglan Standing Stone , on top of a Maori Pa, near Ruapuke, North Island NZ|
|Interesting to see that other cultures in other parts of the world erected standing stones. This would be pretty late too as no one lived in New Zealnd until the Maoris arrived from Polynesia sometime around the 8th century AD ( I think - please correct me if wrong)|
|When was this stone erected? It's included in the 'modern circles' section, and the bare earth around it's base makes me think it's pretty recent.|
