Contact them for permission to reproduce it. |  | | Description | This is Stone 206 from the NE sector of Avebury, and once formed part of the Northern Inner Circle surrounding the Cove. Taken in 2001, this shows the exaggerated phallic-shaped cleft in the stone, which itself looks rather phallic from some angles. I'd noticed that a similar shaped cleft occurred in the tallest of the Cove stones too. Whether this is just a co-incidence, or had been tooled out for a reason....? Note too, the weird 'eyes' lower down it. (Will post a close-up of them). |
