The National Trust has chosen my photograph for its official Hatfield Forest Christmas card. Image shown here is only a low resolution version of course. That makes two this year as the Stop Stansted Expansion campaign chose another - see here |

That bush in the foreground looks like a frozen lion. | Thorgrim (2005-12-20) | Thanks Vicky - you've been to Narnia too then? | Tragic (2005-12-20) | I'm not surpised! Cracking image. | KenWilliams (2005-12-20) | Thats a terrific shot, bravo! | hamish (2005-12-20) | That's great news, there's hope for some of us yet. | thecaptain (2005-12-21) | lovely picture. but it makes me wonder just when you get that much snow in Essex. I never see that much in these parts. | Thorgrim (2005-12-21) | That photo was taken about 12 years ago. Ditto the one for Stop Stansted Expansion. Global warming really is making snow rare so if we get any snow fall - get out there with your cameras because card and calendar publishers will want them. Sunshine on snow is a vital ingredient and exposure can be tricky if you want to avoid grey snow. | rusty (2005-12-23) | wonderful once again - I am becoming a big fan of your work ! | Thorgrim (2005-12-23) | You've got me blushing now, Rusty! |
